Yes! The price includes all doses for medications in the product list, monhtly exam with a provider, syringes, alchol swabs, and shipping. If you're local, it also includes monthly 3D body scans and health assessment.

How does it work with the name brand medications?

Great question! We are happy to offer name brand medications like Zepbound and Wegovy. You will receive these medications directly from Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk respectively. They offer direct to consumer solutions however you still need a prescription and our $149/month covers the doctor visit, exam, and prescription. We have no control over the prices, availability and shipping times for those medications as you will be dealing directly with the pharmaceutical companies at that point.

Do you accept insurance?

We are a cash pay service. We do offer several different payment methods to make it as affordable as we can.

What's the difference between Wegovy (semaglutide, GLP-1) and Zepbound (tirzepatide, GLP-1/GIP)?

Semaglutide slows food movement through your stomach, makes you feel fuller for longer, helps your liver regulate sugar production, and even impacts the brain to reduce cravings. Tirzepatide is a dual agonist acting on both GLP-1 and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) receptors. What you will probably want to know is that studies show that you will lose more weight, lose it faster, and far less side effects with tirzepatide.

What payment options do you offer?

We accept cash (in-person), all major credit and debit cards, Affirm, Afterpay, Klarna, CareCredit, Cherry Finance, Zelle and Venmo. Processing fees vary. Typically there's a 3% surcharge for credit card processing fees, 1% surcharge for Venmo/Zelle, approximately 6% surcharge for CareCredit, Affirm, Afterpay, and Klarna. That will be calculated when you checkout.

Do you offer 0% interest?

Tecnically no, the banks offer them put we participate! CareCredit and Cherry Finance offer deferred interest programs. CareCredit, we are only allowed to charge 3 months at a time but for example, 3 months of GLP-1 medication we could offer 6 months deferred interest and your recommended payment is only $159/mo. If you wanted 12 months deferred interest, your recommend payment is only $68/mo.

How do I apply for CareCredit or Cherry Finance?

It's easy to do! Click Here For CareCredit and get instant approval. Then schedule a time on the calendar or send us a message and we will finish the rest manually.

A few words of advice - Try Cherry Finance first. They do not pull a hard inquiry. Then apply for CareCredit and pick the better of the two offers.

Make sure you put in an amount of credit you are requesting. Yes, it makes a difference. For example if you plan to do 12 months of GLP-1, you want to request a credit limit of $3500. If you're doing GLP-1/GIP, that number should be closer to $5500.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

Non-diabetic patients who stayed on Zepbound for 72 weeks lost 20% of their body weight, on average. In three clinical trials evaluating Wegovy in individuals without diabetes, people lost an average of 15% of their body weight in one year. In another Wegovy trial that evaluated individuals with diabetes, people lost an average of 9.6% of their body weight. These studies seem to suggest that people with diabetes taking these types of drugs lose less weight on average than people without diabetes using these drugs. The clinical trials of Ozempic included only individuals with diabetes and they lost 7% of their body weight, on average, in one year.

In all of the studies, the individuals combined diet and exercise with use of the medication. Everyone responds to these medications differently, and your Made Ya Skinny-affiliated provider will work with you to help get the best results for you and your personal goals.

What are GLP-1s and how do they work?

GLP-1s are a type of medication called glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists that Made Ya Skinny-affiliated providers regularly prescribe to patients. GLP-1s have been FDA-approved and deemed safe and effective for managing a number of conditions, including weight management and type 2 diabetes, when taken as directed. GLP-1 medications come in pre-filled injector pens and are self-administered through subcutaneous injection. GLP-1s help with weight management in two ways:

They slow down how quickly food leaves your stomach—making you feel full faster and satiated for longer

They talk directly to the part of your brain in charge of feeling full—helping you regulate how much you eat When combined with the Made Ya Skinny Body Program components, GLP-1s are an excellent tool to support healthy weight management.

What are the medications that can be prescribed?

Made Ya Skinny-affiliated providers prescribe, when appropriate, one of several GLP-1s. Your Made Ya Skinny-affiliated provider will work with you to find the right medication for your body and goals.

Wegovy is a brand of semaglutide that’s FDA-approved for long-term weight management in people with a body mass index (BMI) ≥30 kg/m2, and in people with a BMI ≥27 kg/m2 plus at least one weight-related medical condition (like high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes), when used in combination with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Ozempic is a brand of semaglutide that’s FDA-approved for the management of certain symptoms and risks of type 2 diabetes, when used in combination with diet and exercise. For most people, using Ozempic may result in weight loss, and it can be prescribed at the provider’s discretion for weight loss. Zepbound is a brand of tirzepatide that’s FDA-approved for long-term weight management in people with a body mass index (BMI) of ≥30 or a BMI of ≥27 and at least one weight-related condition (like high blood pressure or high cholesterol), when used in combination with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Made Ya Skinny-affiliated providers may prescribe compounded GLP-1s and GLP-1/GIP for medically necessary reasons that may not be commercially available from Eli Lilly or Norvo Nordisk. They may be compounded with different vitamins suck as B12, B6, B3 for energy, metabolism enhancement and reduce nausea or glycine to reduce muscle mass loss. The compounded formulas are not FDA-approved however, from 2022-2024 millions of patients were taking the medications in lieu of the FDA-approved version because the name brand medications were constantly on back order and listed on the FDA Shortage List, allowing compound pharmacies to make these medications.

Made Ya Skinny does not prescribe medications nor make any clinical decisions. Our affiliate providers are responsible for clincial care and decisions. Made Ya Skinny is a Master Service Organization (MSO) that handles the business and marketing with agreements in place with various healthcare provider networks. In some cases, Made Ya Skinny will follow standing orders from our medical directors that supervise our clinics.
